I loved this book so much! It had everything I look for in a sci-fi romance: steamy scenes, witty banter, action-packed plot, and of course, a swoon-worthy alien hero. Xan is not your typical alpha male. He's cold, logical, and detached at first, but he slowly learns how to feel and express his emotions thanks to Sofia's patience and kindness. He's also incredibly smart and talented, which makes him even more attractive.

Meet Sofia: A Sunshine Character with a lot of Sass
Sofia is a great heroine as well. She's not intimidated by Xan's brilliance or his alien nature. She's curious, brave, and compassionate. She challenges Xan to open up his heart and mind to new possibilities. She also has her own dreams and goals that she pursues with determination.
The chemistry between Xan and Sofia is off the charts! They have so much in common despite their different backgrounds and species. They both value knowledge, science, and innovation. They also share a passion for each other that burns hotter than any star. Their love scenes are spicy and sweet at the same time.
